About the Speaker

The session will be led by Sherrone Blake Lobban. Sherrone designed and leads the Women in Leadership (WLD) training and coaching program that is aimed at helping women pursue and achieve their biggest life goals.

Sherrone is the youngest person and first person of African descent to be selected to join the United Nations panel of experts. Sherrone is a distinguished former diplomat, boasting an impressive roster call with the United Nations, leading high-stake missions and negotiations. She captivates audiences with her experience and knowledge and the ability to speak to the heart of her listeners. She is a passionate advocate for responsible leadership.

Sherrone has been in leadership roles from the age of 10, where she started out as a class prefect and since then has always been invited into leadership roles. She uses her experience of resilience to inspire and empower her audience to win and lead. From being a diplomat to an unemployed immigrant, she shows how you can succeed despite the odds.
